WOW what a week!

Goodness has this week's weather been fabulous or what!!! We have thrown open our windows and are soaking up the cool breeze! If I didn't have Fall Fever before I certainly do now. What a blessing for sure! What is your favorite thing about the start of Fall??

We love the cooler temps of course, as well as that feeling of being re-energized from the heat of the Summer. I can't wait to start the switch over to Fall clothes, shoes and outerwear!! I'm so ready for chili, soup, s'mores and bonfires!

We are very excited to have our Fall jarred goods available! I will be making more so be sure to stop by and see our HUGE selection!! We've been picking our apples, so those are definitely on the menu :)

We are looking forward to hosting our Fall Ladies Shopping Nights as we get into October so be looking for updates!!! Be sure to let us know if you would be interested in coming!

How about a delicious Fall recipe!!!

This week I am thinking about apple cider, so here's a recipe for:

Apple Cider Fritter Doughnut Bites

Make these incredible apple cider fritter bites for a delicious snack everyone will love! These apple fritter bites spare nothing on the flavor front, with cinnamon, apple, and sugar coming together with fried dough for sweet treat that has to be tasted to be believed.

Ingredients: 2 c. apple cider

2 cinnamon sticks

1 c. brown sugar

3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

3 tsp. baking powder

Pinch of salt

2 tsp. apple pie spice

2 large eggs

6 Tbs. melted butter

Oil for cooking

Granulated sugar + apple pie spice to coat

Instructions: In pan, bring apple cider and cinnamon sticks to a boil. Simmer and reduce by half.

In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, apple pie spice, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine eggs, apple cider, and butter. Stir. Combine ingredients from both bowls. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Break dough into balls. In a pan full of hot oil (365 degrees), cook dough balls 1 minute per side. Cool on paper towels. Coat cooked doughnuts in granulated sugar and apple pie spice. Serve and enjoy!

Thanks Rada for a great recipe~
