What do y'all think about these temps??

Well last night was definitely having that Christmastime feel with the frosty temps! Did you pull out your sweater or jacket this morning?? I am not quite ready for the 40's and 30's for sure! I spent some time last evening harvesting our garden for as much produce as I could just in case we got down to the 30's. I am happy to say I had a bunch of peppers, a few tomatoes and some of our Asian long beans! There will certainly be some goodies from the kitchen soon!

Thank you so much to everyone who came in and supported us during our Annual Harvest Festival!! What a great time! So many visitors from out of town and our local community as well! We look forward to seeing everyone for our 10th Annual Christmas Open House!

I plan on making our videos that you all have been asking for featuring our decorating, crafting and cooking tips! SOOOO be watching for them on our Facebook page! Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 10 minutes; set aside to cool.

Grease a 9″ Springform pan and press the sugar cookie dough evenly into it. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely.

Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cookie crust. Core and dice the apples into a bowl and add the seltzer water or soda; soak at least 3 minutes.

Drain the apples, pat dry, and scatter them over the frosting. Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the top and drizzle with caramel sauce.
