Here is a picture of my husband and I from our New Years Eve celebration.....
Just KIDDING LOL
I post this annually on New Years Eve because we usually fall asleep around 9pm HAHA
We are just a crazy couple of whipper snappers ;)
We started out with a booth at the local Downtown Farmers Market in Paducah, Ky. about 20 years ago with our Heirloom Vegetables. We just kept expanding each year with new items, growing our customers/friends. We have had such a wonderful response from our local community. We had prayed for quite awhile about whether to open a store and felt the time was finally right. We are so thankful to everyone who has had a helping hand in our adventure!!
I wanted to start this blog after the suggestion of several of our customers! This will be a great central location for our tips, tricks, videos, updates, fun ideas, recipes and SO MUCH more!!!
We have really expanded our reach to all over the United States as we have so many wonderful folks that travel through our town and stop by the store! We literally have customers from coast to coast! What a blessing to have such a huge community!
I look forward to sharing about our adventures as we navigate business, marriage, family and as always stepping out in faith!
Now for an introductory recipe that WE LOVE at our house!!!
This is such a SUPER EASY and QUICK snack or appetizer!!
* 3 cups of diced tomatoes (grab our homegrown heirloom non-GMO pesticide free tomatoes!)
* 1 pkg. Bruschetta Wind & Willow Mix (available at our store)
* fresh Mozzarella
* fresh Basil (available at our store as well)
* fresh French bread or Italian bread, sliced
Add Mix and Topping to tomatoes. Place bread slices on a serving platter. Top with a slice of mozzarella and basil leaf. Spoon tomatoes on top. ENJOY!!
**Note: you may toast or grill your bread slices first if you prefer
We hope you enjoy and let us know what you think! Thanks for reading our first blog and being a part of our adventure! Stay tuned for more fun real soon!
Until then, blessings from our house to yours!!
