Goodness it's sure flown by, these last 8 years!! There have been many laughs, a few tears shed and lots of love given over all this time! We enjoyed a beautiful evening last night with cool breezes and no humidity, by taking a garden stroll!!! Our garden sure enjoyed the rain and will certainly take off now!!! WE CAN'T wait for our veggies and herbs to be ready to harvest!!! Be sure to watch for updates on how our garden grows!!
Speaking of veggies......here is a delicious Spring Recipe! This is a perfect side dish or add cooked shredded chicken to make it a scrumptious dinner!
Lemon Pasta Parmesan and Asparagus Salad
6 c. prepared spiral pasta of your choice
1 lemon
1 c. shredded fresh parmesan cheese
1 bunch of asparagus, cooked al dente
Place warm pasta in a large bowl. Zest lemon over pasta. Juice lemon and pour over pasta. Add cheese and stir. Cut the asparagus in bite size pieces and toss with pasta. THAT'S IT!
This is so easy and makes a delicious Springtime dish!!
